"I have a 70 year old apple tree in my backyard with a dramatic lean to one side. The tree has compensated by growing in the opposite direction, but I noticed that one side was getting lower each year, especially with a heavy apple harvest. I was scared this gnarled beauty was one windstorm away from toppling over, so I asked John to come have a look. He researched how to best save the tree, using recent, applicably case studies to come up with a solution.
